Actress Christina Applegate returns to acting and producing

  • - Since her childhood until now, she has maintained her position in the world of cinema.
  • Her struggle with cancer did not stop her from working and acting.

She is one of the rare actresses who was born in Hollywood, as most famous actors were born in other places far away, then came to Hollywood to act and stayed to work there. She is "Christina Applegate." CHRISTINA APPLEGATE , she comes from an artistic family, her father works in the main office of a record company, and her mother was a singer and actress, and she appeared with her daughter "Christina" as a child on the screen, then "Christina" graduated after that in acting until she became famous and won several awards, including the " Golden Globe" award. And several other awards given to television actors, including the " Emmy" Award. .

Christina passed the critical stage of child actors whose fame fades as they grow older, but she became more famous and played leading roles in films despite the fact that she went through dangerous stages in her life, especially her struggle with cancer; and like Angelina Jolie, she was forced to remove her breasts. She was practically the talk of the press for a while, and after that she carried out awareness campaigns to fight cancer patients and the necessity of treating it.

She is now forty-seven years old and she not only acts, but in her latest films she also turned to acting and producing the same film, which required a great deal of effort from her.

When I met her recently, she was still very beautiful despite the tiring phase she had been through.

I asked her: What made you act and produce your latest film, which is DEAD TO ME "?

She said: When I read the story, I was fascinated by it, especially since we were all women in the film from beginning to end, meaning that the production and acting were all women, and the film is not actually a film, but rather a series of about ten segments, each part having its share of sadness and despair.

I told her: You have gone through many difficult circumstances in your life since you were a child until now, so how has this affected your cinematic career? She said that in her films she tries to show normal life from pleasant circumstances to the hardships and troubles of the world, and this is what makes the viewer belong to the film.

I told her, if you were to live your life again, would you like to change anything about it?

She said: Mostly no, but sometimes it is permissible. I treated her in a different way.

I asked her: Do you like watching TV in the evening? She said that she doesn't like staying up late. She goes to bed early and watches TV for half an hour in the evening. She feels sleepy and falls asleep, as she likes to wake up early the next day to take care of her little daughter's needs. Therefore, she usually doesn't watch her TV shows.

I asked her: Do you allow your daughter to watch your novels on TV?

She said: Yes, I have, I have seen some of my novels recently.

I asked her: If your daughter wanted to work in acting, would you encourage her to do so? She said: Not now, as she wants her daughter to go to school as usual like all children and to have a normal life and childhood. Also, in adolescence, she should have friends and play with them until the age of 18, and there she herself decides what she wants to do with her life, not like what happened to me when I was a child, my life was acting and work, and I lost the joy that I see now in children, but what happened happened and I cannot make up for it.

I asked her: You told us that you went through many difficult circumstances in your life (including, of course, your struggle with cancer), but you must have had some good times?

She said: Yes, when I see my daughter happy, playing with her friends, running and talking to them in the parks near us. This is what brings joy to my soul, which I lost when I was young.
