International star Arnold Schwarzenegger tells Al-Mawed: "If I went back in time, I would have loved to have been there when the pyramids were built."

  • My relationship with my ex-wife is very good
  • In my charity we work on research into ways to treat incurable diseases
  • One of my achievements is raising awareness among young people about the importance of sports.
  • When I was governor of California I fought to keep the environment clean

Arnold Schwarzenegger.. He started his life in a poor family in one of the towns of Austria. He said that his mother had the greatest influence on his life and upbringing, as she did not hesitate to punish him if he did something bad, and she was strict in her demands that he take the utmost care of his intellectual and physical life. On this basis, let us review the history of this unique man, as he is:
• He won the World Bodybuilding Championship while in Austria.
• He came to Hollywood and won several acting awards as well as the highest salaries given to actors at the time.
• He entered politics and joined the Republican Party in America.
• He married Maria Shriver, the daughter of Eunice Kennedy, sister of the late US President John Kennedy.
• He was elected governor of California.
• He has an illegitimate son, as he had a relationship with a nanny who worked in his home, and he did not deny that and he continued to pay the expenses of his illegitimate son.
• Following the news of his illegitimate son, his wife, Maria Shriver, divorced him.
• Arnold Schwarzenegger is now back to acting but still occasionally intervenes in American domestic politics.

The interview began with him stating that he had made a mistake (although he did not mention that it was regarding his illegitimate son, but he did not mention it but rather waved it away).
He said that his relationship with his ex-wife Maria Shriver (who is the niece of former US President John F. Kennedy, as I mentioned above) is fine and they work together when it is in the best interest of their children and they make decisions together regarding her children, but of course they are divorced and each one is concerned with his own affairs - he said that at the beginning of the interview so that I would not ask about that and at least that is what was understood from that.
So I asked him about his latest film, which he goes back in time with in the film - I asked him:
• If you had the power and ability to go back in time, what would you like to see or do? And if you had the power to change the past, what would you like to change and correct? He said:
- Regarding your first question, I would like to go back in time and see how they built the pyramids and be there and contemplate their work. Then, as for the COLLOSEUM in Rome, I would see the power of the Roman state and then the VIKINGS, all these peoples who built the world as we know it now. Then, regarding the second question, if I had the ability to change, I would try to eliminate malignant diseases such as cancer and EBOLA, but this is of course a dream that we hope will come true one day.
• I asked him: If he had a big role in California politics, or even in all of America’s politics, I said to him: What are your most important achievements? And what are your mistakes, if you have any in your opinion? He said:
- My most important achievement is that when I won the world championship in bodybuilding, I tried to alert young people to the importance of physical perfection and sports. When I was governor of California, I tried to fix the climate from the smoke from cars and factories that cover the neighborhoods near them with smoke from chimneys that harm everyone. On this basis, I put in place laws in California that are considered to be the most protective of the atmosphere and environment to date (then he mentioned several topics specific to California that are not of interest to the reader in the Middle East).
• I asked him how he felt now that he had lost the power and authority he had when he was governor of California. He said:
- When I left the governorship, it does not mean that I lost the power I had. I continue to fight environmental degradation, not only in California. I am a pioneer in fighting deadly fumes from cars and factories, whether in America, China, India, or Europe - and also with the Schwarzenegger Foundation at the University of California.

We are looking for a way to treat incurable diseases through STEM CELL RESEARCH, which requires great effort and large sums of money. This is in addition to my efforts to follow sports all over the world, as I follow and encourage physical sports, as I did in South America, specifically in Rio de Janeiro, Madrid, and Australia (and he mentioned several other cities and countries as well).
