Suez Canal hosts Arab Women Investors Union conference
The Suez Canal and the city of Ismailia hosted the conference of the Arab Women Investors Union, headed by Dr. Hoda Galal Yassa, a woman of deep thought with a distinctive personality in a state of constant active movement to raise the name of her country, Egypt, high in the field of business and investment. This conference, which was held under the title “The Egyptian-Arab Celebration of the Legend of Will and Challenge” in Ismailia, brought together many Arab businesswomen to work on promoting investment opportunities to attract investors to the Suez Canal axis area and establish investment projects in the governorates of the Canal and Sinai.
In fact, the conference was one of the best opportunities for female investors to learn about the potential of establishing investment projects. On the first day of the conference, Lieutenant General Mohab Mamish, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, announced in his speech, which was met with applause from the audience, that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi would announce the start of the Suez Canal development project. Investment and industrial projects and other economic activities were also presented, with the Suez Canal as its focus.
The day after the conference activities, there was a trip in the New Suez Canal, on board a large ship. The trip was one of the most beautiful things that Dr. Hoda gave to her guests at the conference. She made a great effort to achieve this trip, which was like a dream. Everyone was amazed by the achievement that was made in record time in order to complete the new canal, which has become an added value in the Egyptian economy and the global trade movement.
Breathtaking, enchanting views, and blue waters sway with a dream come true and dreams in the process of being implemented. The sweetness of the scene was more beautiful than any words.
Here I must extend a word of thanks to a lady who carries all the meanings of distinction, Dr. Hoda Yassa, who surprised me with a shield of appreciation. A shield of appreciation was also presented to Mrs. Asiya Qassem, President of the “Help the Elderly” Association in Lebanon. To further honor the Lebanese flag, the flag of Lebanon was planted in front of the flag of the Arab Republic of Egypt while we were presenting the shield on the banks of the Suez Canal, confirming the depth of the love that unites Egypt and Lebanon, extending from the depths of history and looking forward to promising future days of cooperation for the good of our country and our people.
