An Audio message from the champion Muhammad Ali Clay
The world boxing champion Muhammad Ali Clay was a legend whose fame spread all over the world, and he attracted the love of the masses for decades. My father, the editor-in-chief of Al-Maw’ed magazine, had met him several times, in Beirut and in his palace in the United States of America, and conducted a long interview with him that was published in episodes in which he spoke about his life, his beginnings, his journey in the world of boxing, and his declaration of his conversion to Islam.
I remember that my father brought with him from his trip to America a special gift, which was a voice message from Muhammad Ali Clay to me and all my sisters, each with her name, encouraging us to acquire knowledge and preserve the ethics and principles of the true religion, in addition to a signed T-shirt from him that I still have. This picture was taken of my father and Muhammad Ali Clay in his mansion in America in late 1980.
