Naglaa Fathy
Al-Mawed magazine used to send a representative to the filming studios to conduct interviews with the stars and the crew. In 1977, during the filming of the movie “Sonia and the Madman” starring Naglaa Fathi, Mahmoud Yassin and Nour El-Sherif, Naglaa Fathi arrived at the Al-Ahram studio. She had felt extremely tired earlier, so she visited her doctor who advised her to rest and relax and change the atmosphere. She went to the director Hossam El-Din Mostafa and said to him: “I am tired, and I visited Dr. Ismail and he advised me to change the scenery for a few days, so I need a few days off.”
Hussam El-Din Mustafa said to her, smiling: “The studio is the best place to change the scenery.” She asked him: “How?” He said to her: “As you know, the movie has twenty scenes, meaning the decor and filming locations. You can stay in each scene however you want.” They both laughed together and the camera started filming.
This photo was taken of Naglaa Fathi from the movie (Lover of Herself).
