Since childhood, Naglaa Fathi dreamed of cinema.
Since her childhood, the star Naglaa Fathi dreamed of becoming a movie actress. One day, after she became a young woman, while she was with her friend on the beach in Alexandria, the producer Adly Al-Moualed approached her and told her that she was suitable for film work. He gave her his card with his office number on it and said to her: “When you are in Cairo, call me.” She asked him: “Are you serious or are you flirting?”
He said to her: “The lady standing next to me is my wife and this is serious.” When she returned home and told her family, a big problem occurred and the family friend, the brown nightingale Abdel Halim Hafez, intervened to solve the problem. Later, he gave her her stage name Naglaa, but her first film work was the movie (The Three Friends), and she participated with Abdel Halim Hafez in the radio series (Please Don’t Misunderstand Me Quickly).
