Nabila Obeid returned to study after playing (Rabia Al-Adawiya)
In an interview with the star Nabila Obeid with the late editor-in-chief of Al-Mawed magazine, Badih Serbey, published in episodes, she said that her marriage to the late director Atef Salem took place while she was filming her role in the movie (Rabia Al-Adawiya), but he wanted her to retire from acting and become a wife and housewife, however her cinematic ambitions were great.
One day, a disagreement occurred between them, as a result of which he left the house and stayed in a hotel, so she returned to study at the girls’ college, and the teachers used to come to see her wondering how she returned to studying after Cinema. She passed the second secondary school exam, and agreed with her teachers to be home schooled in preparation for the Tawjihi certificate. Nabila says that her insistence on her artistic work and her husband’s rejection of it were the main reasons for their separation.
